Alejandra Cámara, founder and director of GENESIS, is a recognized authority on climate policy and carbon markets, with a career spanning over two decades that began in 2001. Her track record is distinguished by pivotal corporate leadership; she served as Head of Climate Change Policy at Bunge SA (NYSE:BG), where she managed the carbon credit fund and analyzed more than 350 projects. Her influence extends to the global and regional policy arenas, as she is a member of the UNDP Roster of Experts, an advisor to two G20 presidencies (Argentina and Indonesia), and possesses direct experience in designing sustainable finance strategies in Latin America and Africa (Gabon).
