Fernanda Figueroa
María Fernanda Figueroa Herrera is an Associate Professor and researcher at the School of Business Sciences at Universidad Austral (Argentina), where she serves as Academic Director for Sustainability and Management programs. These include the Diploma in Strategy and Sustainability, the Executive Program in Finance and Impact Investment, and the Diploma in Innovation for the Circular Economy. She holds a PhD in Economic Sciences (UBA), a Master’s degree in Business and Humanism (University of Navarra), and a degree in International Trade. She is a researcher at the Center for Sustainability and Social Innovation Studies (CESIS); her research focuses on sustainable business models, the growth of social enterprises, and the management of impact investment funds in emerging markets. She has published in international journals and presented at conferences such as *Academy of Management Learning & Education*, *Social Enterprise Journal*, AoM, EGOS, and the Social Entrepreneurship Conference. She is also an associate professor of Environmental Engineering at UCA and teaches in the Design program at UdeSA. Outside of academia, she has experience in international cooperation, microfinance, international trade, and marketing.
